Booking Conditions
All holidays provided by
Snowfox Holidays Ltd are sold subject to these booking conditions.
Bookings and payments
The Client means the
person in whose name the booking is made. The meaning of Client also
extends to all other persons on whose behalf the booking is made.
Where a group of individuals are concerned, the group leader is the
one responsible for the deposit as well as the final balance payment.
A contract between the Client and Snowfox Holidays Ltd is considered
valid only after a completed booking form and a non refundable deposit
of £100 per person or the total cost of the holiday has been received
by Snowfox Holidays Ltd and a confirmation invoice has been issued.
Balances are to be paid in full no later than 8 weeks before the start
date of the holiday. Bookings made within 8 weeks before the start
date of the holiday must be accompanied by its full price. If these
conditions are not fulfilled by the Client, Snowfox Holidays Ltd
reserve the right to cancel the booking. Under these circumstances the
Client forfeits any deposit which would have been paid. Snowfox
Holidays Ltd reserve the right to refuse a reservation without having
to disclose a reason.
Lost property
Snowfox Holidays Ltd will
not accept any responsibility for lost or damaged property.
Services provided by
third parties
In the case of suppliers
other than Snowfox Holidays Ltd (ski hire, transfers, ski lessons or
any other suppliers) providing services to the Client, any contract is
exclusively between the suppliers and the Client. Snowfox Holidays Ltd
does not accept liability for any accidents or injuries caused while
these services are being provided.
Clients responsibility
for accommodation
The person making the
booking is fully liable to Snowfox Holidays Ltd for any costs
whatsoever incurred due to any incidents, actions, breakages, loss or
damage to Snowfox Holidays Ltd accommodation and its inventory by the
person him/herself or any member of their party. Snowfox Holidays Ltd
have full discretion as to the manner in which they deal with or
settle any such incident.
Smoking
Smoking is strictly
prohibited in all Snowfox accommodation.
Holiday cancellations
by Snowfox Holidays Ltd
In the most unlikely event
we should cancel your holiday all monies which we have received will
be repaid in full, except from circumstances amounting to force
majeur.
The following are
considered as amounting to force majeur : cancellation of
holiday due to war, threat of war, riot, civil unrest, terrorist
activity, natural disasters, adverse weather conditions, flight or
train time alterations.
Holiday cancellations
by the Client
The person signing the
booking form or making the original booking should notify us in
writing in order to cancel the holiday (letter, fax or e-mail).
Cancellations charges apply. These are: 58 days or more before
departure – deposit only, 36 days to 59 days before departure – 50%,
21 days to 35 days before departure – 60%, 20days or less before
departure – 100%. Snowfox Holidays Ltd cannot be held responsible for
non-receipt or non-delivery of the cancellation notice.
Customer complaints
In the unlikely event of
complaints arising, Snowfox Holidays Ltd resort staff should be
notified at once. Any complaint notified after the end of the holiday
will not be accepted.
No complaints which are
related to either weather, snow conditions, travel delays, lift
closures or “social skiing” will be accepted.
Accommodation
No compensation claim will
be accepted if any client finds chalet decoration or room sizes not to
their liking.
Snowfox Holidays may
upgrade your reservation to a chalet of a higher standard.
Social Skiing
'Social Skiing' is a free
service provided by Snowfox Holidays. Please note this is not Ski
Lessons, Ski Guiding or Mountain Guiding it is merely for the guests
to ski together and be shown the areas of la Plagne for their first
few days skiing. No responsibility will be taken for any accident
during social skiing or if the social skiing cannot go ahead due to
low numbers, physical injury or any other reason which does not allow
us to provide this service.
Refunds
No refunds will be made if
any free service such as “social skiing” cannot be delivered by
Snowfox Holidays Ltd due to uncontrollable circumstances such as
physical injury.
Law and jurisdiction
All contracts made
according to the terms of these booking conditions are governed by
English Law and both parties shall submit to the jurisdiction of
English Courts at all times.
